General Information
The Ibero-American Conferences on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) are organized annually by the HCI-Collab Network, continuously since 2015, bringing together researchers, teachers, professionals, undergraduate and graduate students linked to the computer science discipline focused on discussion and learning about Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), in the Ibero-American context.
In its IX edition, the Universidad Nacional de La Matanza, Argentina, will organize them from September 13th to 15th, 2023 in hybrid modality (face-to-face + remote), with the aim of encouraging the participation of researchers and undergraduate and graduate students from Latin America regarding the technological relevance of HCI and its impact on other disciplines. That is why, the Conference will have as its main axis the 'Transversality of Human-Computer Interaction: impact on multiple disciplines'.
The interface is part of a cultural, physical, and social environment, and therefore, it is necessary to take into account a series of factors when designing it. This is how the design of the interaction of people with computers has become a critical element in the development of software and hardware products and is one of the main factors that influence the success and competitiveness of software applications.
